Unfortunately we got a worldwide pandemic going on and everything is cancelled. Yeah we miss concerts too. Also, we don’t like limits. So we created a brand new weekly music streaming format. The goal of this project is to bring together what belongs together: artists and audience. It’s kind of a win/win situation: you can stay at home safe, enjoy your favourite music & support amazing artists and people who are not as safe as us. His concerts and recordings have gained him a reputation for a new approach to the guitar. Since moving to Berlin and setting up Lichte Studio, Martyn has been involved with some incredible releases in the contemporary classical and independent genres. As a composer, Martyn worked alongside Dustin O’Halloran on the US TV series, Transparent. In 2015, the show was nominated for an Emmy in seven categories, and won two Golden Globe awards. As a performer, Martyn played over 150 concerts as a live member of Efterklang and as a solo artist has supported A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Nils Frahm, and Balmorhea on tour. Martyn’s show is woven around his mesmerising electric guitar playing and has taken him to legendary venues such as the Funkhaus in Berlin and Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie. Martyn released the solo EP Shady & Light in 2016, followed by his debut album Electric Intervals in 2017.
