The exhibition A CHANGE OF PERSPECTIVES presents selected photo and video works by Mustafah Abdulaziz from the years 2016 to 2025, including a special screening of his short film Women Are Beautiful. The works reflect his distinctive poetic vision and tell stories of people and nature from around the world.
In addition, the exhibition features works from the workshop of the same name, A Change of Perspectives, in which Mustafah Abdulaziz invited artists – known for their work in front of the camera – to explore their creativity behind the lens as portrait photographers. Under Abdulaziz’s guidance, the focus was on the creative process: experimenting with light, composition, and movement to reveal unexpected facets of one another’s presence.
All images and videos on display were shot on iPhone.
Mustafah Abdulaziz is a photographer and director based in Berlin and London. He is a recipient of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award, a National Geographic grantee, and a former fellow of both the Alicia Patterson and Bertha Foundations. His work is regularly published in The New York Times, TIME, and Der Spiegel. His pieces are also part of the Mercedes-Benz Art Collection in Stuttgart and the National Portrait Gallery in London.
The exhibition opens on 1 May 2025, from 11 AM to 6 PM, in the presence of the artist.
