AFÁRÁ’s Summer Collective

AFÁRÁ’S SUMMER COLLECTIVE invites visitors to spend two days exploring fashion, creativity, culture and community in the heart of Munich.

Throughout both days, guests can discover curated fashion brands from Africa and the diaspora, explore artworks by Dr. Vivian Timothy, enjoy African and Caribbean food, connect with fellow visitors and participate in an interactive batik printing experience inspired by traditional textile-making techniques.

Visitors are invited to contribute to a collaborative textile artwork using hand-crafted batik stamps from Nigeria and traditional wax-resist drawing tools.

The exhibition of artworks by Dr. Vivian Timothy will be accessible throughout the event, transforming the venue into both a fashion destination and a cultural space.

The weekend begins with a relaxed shopping atmosphere accompanied by music, food and art.

FASHION SHOW & FRAGRANCE TRAIL

This season’s fashion presentation goes beyond the visual. The runway experience is accompanied by a fragrance trail created in collaboration with Sukkar, inviting visitors to experience fashion through both sight and scent.
