After-Work at Kunstareal: Welcome Internationals

The Lenbachhaus invites you to a guided tour of the exhibition “Beyond the World. The Blue Rider.”

After a word of welcome, there will be a guided tour of the renowned Blue Rider collection.
In the early years of the twentieth century, a circle of artists, women as well as men, came together in Munich. They shared a vision and the resolve to renew art and change society.
Featuring over 240 works, the exhibition presents highlights and new acquisitions from the world’s largest Blue Rider collection. It also explores the movement’s international network, pioneering achievements, and lasting relevance for artistic innovation, personal freedom, and cultural exchange.

After the tour, join us for a get-together in the museum garden with drinks from Aqua Monaco and freshly baked Brezeln from Julius Brantner Brothandwerk.
On September 3, the Lenbachhaus will remain open until 10 pm, giving you the opportunity to explore the museum’s other exhibitions as well.
Until 10 pm, there will be drinks and music – all under the special light of Olafur Eliasson’s “Wirbelwerk”!
