Bambino ist ein Kurier in Lagos. Er ist Single und lebt allein. Ifeyinwa, eine junge Nachbarin, besucht ihn oft und hofft auf eine Veränderung in ihrer Beziehung. Während einer Lieferung trifft Bambino auf Bawa. Ein Fotoprojekt bringt die beiden zusammen, und gemeinsam begeben sie sich auf eine Reise, um die Megalopolis und ihre Gefühle zu entdecken. ALL THE COLOURS OF THE WORLD ARE BETWEEN BLACK AND WHITE wirft einen intimen und zärtlichen Blick auf die Liebe und die Komplexität des Lebens in einer Gesellschaft, in der Homosexualität illegal und gesellschaftlich tabuisiert ist. In seinem ersten Spielfilm lässt uns Babatunde Apalowo über Liebe, Identität und sozialen Druck nachdenken.

Bambino is a courier in Lagos. He is single and lives alone. Ifeyinwa, a young neighbour, often visits him hoping for a change in their relationship. During a delivery, Bambino meets Bawa. A photographic project brings them together and they go on a journey together to discover the megalopolis and their feelings. ALL THE COLOURS OF THE WORLD ARE BETWEEN BLACK AND WHITE takes an intimate and tender look at love and the complexity of living in a society where homosexuality is illegal and socially taboo. In this first feature film, Babatunde Apalowo leads us to reflect on love, identity and social pressure.
