Alva Noto – HYBR:ID UNI PARA / Jerzy Mączyński + J.MO'ONG SANTOSO PRIBADI AV, Katarzyna Dębska

Presented as part of Polish Art Week / 7th Avant Art Festival Berlin, this evening brings together three artists and projects operating at the intersection of sound, image, technology, and experimental composition. Spanning contemporary electronic music, audiovisual performance, and interdisciplinary artistic practice, the programme explores different approaches to immersion, perception, and sonic storytelling.

Alva Noto – HYBR UNI PARA presents the work of Carsten Nicolai, one of the most influential figures in contemporary electronic and audiovisual art, whose performances merge minimal electronic composition, visual abstraction, and immersive environments.

Jerzy Mączyński & J. “MO’ONG” Santoso Pribadi AV, with video by Katarzyna Dębska, marks the first live collaboration between the Polish saxophonist and electronic artist and the Indonesian experimental composer and instrument builder, bringing together acoustic material, custom-built instruments, electronics, and audiovisual composition.

Katarzyna Dębska’s visual work expands the sonic dimension of the performance, creating an audiovisual space where moving image and sound interact to form a dreamlike and highly immersive experience.
