For over 30 years, Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago, have been at the forefront of the Latin American alternative rock music scene, releasing a vast repertoire of songs that have become classics. Their critically acclaimed albums have topped the music charts and been featured in numerous prestigious lists including Rolling Stone's ‘The 50 Best Latin American Rock Albums,’ with "La Pipa de la Paz" at No. 3, and Al Borde magazine's Top 10 of ‘250 Best Latin Alternative Albums’ with "El Dorado."
Commemorating 28 years of their flagship album 'El Dorado', Aterciopelados presents “El Dorado En Vivo”, the 2024 version of the seminal Colombian rock album of the nineties, a powerful and visionary album that embraces punk, reggae and rock with traditional Colombian music. It features some of their biggest hits including ‘Florecita Rockera’, ‘Candela’ and one of the most important Colombian rock songs, ‘Bolero Falaz’.
This year, Aterciopelados embark on a European tour presenting El Dorado en Vivo. The tour takes them through London, Dublin, Berlin, Paris, Mallorca, Valencia, Madrid, Barcelona, Granada, Bilbao and Sevilla with more dates to be announced.
