On Friday 21 June, six of Berlin's bassiest collectives will take over the city's newest and most exciting club space - Turbulence TXL, an open air playground for club culture on the airfield of the former Tegel airport. Each collective explores dance music way beyond the house and techno duality from their own unique perspective - Dry is a playground for diasporic bass music, Femme Bass Mafia is a collective dedicated to a UK-heavy dubstep and drum and bass sound, Hyper Real approaches the dance floor from the experimental and futuristic fringes of club music, Kilowatt is Berlin's leading Black collective for club hedonism between Jersey Club and Acid House, while Reverse Engineering surveys the club space as a field of tension between performance art and dance music, and Raiders fly the flag for fast Electro, Ghettotech, Booty House and Footwork. Together they are hosting a never-before-seen sound clash, where each collective presents a cross-section of their work through b2b sets from their residents.
