Das sagt der/die Veranstalter:in:

An evening that  offers a journey through the thriving cultural music of North Africa and the MENA region. The diverse line-up is meant to give people the true meaning of living in another culture, the feeling of the Sahara dust on the face and the breeze of the Mediterranean Sea enveloping the body, while touching the artistic boundaries of the North African and MENA Region norm by introducing other styles, be it Flamenco, funk,Dubstep or Techno.

Ministry Of Dub-Key

Inspired to form combined elements from reggae music with Palestinian folklore and dance, MDBK achieved the fusion of genres through the integration of dub music. Then they brought the Dabke Dance and Mijwiz sound to match up to breaks of hip-hop and Dancehall, calling for the emergence of the Arab-A-Dub style. sound system culture meets a late night Palestinian street party - and not a beat is amiss.

Sofiane Saidi

The press nicknamed him the Prince of Raï 2.0. The label makes him laugh. Yes,  he  grew up in Algeria. Yes, he landed 30 years ago in Paris. Since then, the musician never
stoppes exploring new bridges, with his oriental roots, his heart open to all grooves, all sounds, to all worlds.
His work with Acid Arab, released in the album "Musiques de France" on Crammed Discs, results in El Hafla: The party.  The album was nominated for the Victoires de la Musique in 2016.
After 2 albums - El Mordjan, and El Njoum with Mazalda - , Sofiane continues collaborations: again Acid Arab with the title Rimitti d'Or, or Leila, Rodolphe Burger with the Mademoiselle project, he pays tribute to Rachid Taha by embodying the voice of raï alongside Jeanne Added, Christophe and Catherine Ringer.
At the same time, he produces film music and lends his voice to many featurings. Sofiane can't stop working!
Now solo, his live  show is a n ight  experience, a subversive exploration, a charge of erotic transgression, the raï soul in an electronic body.
