Julie is a French illustrator and printmaker based in Berlin. She has graduated in Fine Art from the Saint-Etienne School of Art and Design and studied at Berlin Weissensee School of Art as a guest student. With her illustration and screen printing Studio Miammmiam, she collaborates and exhibits her work regularly at the Slow Galerie in Paris, Neurotitan, and Supalife in Berlin. She creates a colorful bestiary, mixed of lightness and power, tinted with humor.

During Julie’s 4 hours "Become a Screen Print Expert from A to Z" Workshop, you learn everything about screen printing on paper or textile. With the artist’s help, you go through the theory and the possibilities to use screen printing. You practice and learn how to prepare the screen with emulsion and how to expose it. You screen print your own design or drawing with the color of your choice to make your artwork. You also learn how to clean the material and take care of it. You learn everything to make screen printing by your own.

Please bring your design ready to be printed, and your own textile and paper material to print on it such as T-Shirts and Tote bags, from 170 grams to higher for the paper. Please bring clear colors only, no dark colors. Only one color and maximum A4-sized design. You can print up to 10 samples with your own design and bring them back home directly after the workshop.

Number of people: 1 - 4 people ; bigger groups and team building workshops are possible on demand.
Location: At the collective photo laboratory and screen printing studio  in the multicultural district of Wedding, Berlin.
