Berlin Amateur Chili Eating Competition by PanDemonic @ Berlin Chili Fest

Berlin Chili Fest ist ein 2020 durch Chili Punk ins Leben gerufenes Projekt, welches jedes Jahr immer mehr Publikum gewinnt. Im September 2022 fand er über 2 Tage in der Berliner Berg Brauerei statt und wurde täglich von ca. 5000 Personen besucht. Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung haben wir ein Hot Sauces-Market mit allen signifikanten Berliner Chili-Saucen Hersteller und Händler so wie Berliner Pfefferhaus oder Crazy Bastard Sauce organisiert. Zusätzlich gab es ein großes Angebot am Vor-Ort zu essen und trinken, als auch ein Abendprogramm mit u.a. Fire- und Musicshows.

Dieses Jahr wird es noch größer und noch schärfer, da wir – Pandemonic Chili Sauces, gemeinsam mit der internationalen Organisation für Chili-Veranstaltungen - League of Fire, zum ersten Mal in Berlin ein Chili Eating Wettbewerb organisieren werden. Die Teilnehmer starten in zwei Kategorien: Amateuren und Profis. Alle werden herausfordert die schärfsten frischen Chilis der Welt wie zum Beispiel Carolina Reaper aufzuessen. Im Amateurwettbewerb kann jeder sein Glück versuchen. Diejenigen, die als letzten auf der Bühne bleiben werden, werden ein Recht in den anderen Veranstaltungen des League of Fire teilnehmen zu können, und somit eine Chance in die weltweiten Ranglisten eingetragen zu werden. Für das Profi-Wettbewerb treten gegeneinander die, die bereits durch League of Fire erfasst sind, das heißt die Emotionen sind hier garantiert!

This event is open to all Amateur chili-eating competitors and is free to enter, the winner will win a trophy, prize money and the chance to compete in the official “League of Fire” professional competition at the next Harvest Berlin Chili Fest in September 2024.

You will be sent our entry pack to prove you have what it takes, just follow the instructions inside and send us the video proof.

We will choose the 10 competitors once we have seen the video proof of you eating chilis.

This is not for the faint-hearted, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer, and will need to prove you can handle the heat, the eating competition will take place live at the Berlin Chili Fest as a warmup event to the official “League of Fire” professional competition.
