Driving Techno from modern scene stalwarts SPFDJ and Francois X, and a rare back-to-back set from Belgian dance music paragons CJ Bolland & Nosedrip that only a fool would skip. Filling our PLUSFloor with timeless, minimalistic tech house is the Munich-basedDifferent Times label and collective, who have invited the Uruguayan eminence DJ Koolt and the cooler-than-thou ASIA with a frigid and chilling take on Minimal’s magic.

SPFDJ travels through brute Techno, EBM, and Industrial with a smart and classy handling indebted to the zeitgeist, while Francois X is one of contemporary France’s standout Techno figures, spinning essential Techno all around Europe. Joining these cosmopolitan players is a rare and stunning back-to-back set from two cornerstones of the Flemish scene: Nosedrip and CJ Bolland. While the first is an underground institution, specializing in dazzling niche compilations of seemingly every sort of noise and sound that might have ever occurred (thus making him a formidable, versatile, and charmingly unpredictable DJ), the latter helped birth Acid- and Proto-Techno in Belgium. This luminary became an underground and national icon by fusing the sounds of New Beat and the early, futuristic Techno coming out of Detroit—two genres defining the Belgian scene around the 90s. It’s hard to predict exactly where these two experienced selectors and curious musical minds will steer the floor for their closing set, but rest assured, it will be a memorable night of dance music.

The Different Times crew are back to feed us more of the puristic, minimal-leaning tech house they’re well known for. This time around, they’re joined by DJ Koolt, a stalwart of the Uruguayan dance music scene, who significantly shaped the reputation of the country and his hometown Montevideo as a hotbed for stylized and minimal tech house treats. Come hear a master at work! He’s joined by ASIA, whose charismatic understatement—there’s not much to find on the web—shifts an even bigger focus on her music. Dive into a sea of ice-cold, minimalistic dance music and embrace the cool!

Auf unserem PLUS Floor wird zeitloser, minimalistische Tech House vom in München ansässigen Different Times Label und Kollektiv zelebriert: eingeladen werden die uruguayischen Eminenz DJ Koolt und die cooler-als-cool ASIA mit einem kühlen und faszinierenden Minimal-Ansatz.

Immer am Puls der Zeit, spielt sich SPFDJ geschickt und stilvoll durch kräftigen Techno, EBM und Industrial. Francois X ist einer der herausragenden Techno-Künstler des zeitgenössischen Frankreichs und spielt hochkonzentrierten, state-of-the-art Techno in ganz Europa.

Die beiden Kosmopoliten werden von einem seltenen Back-to-Back-Set zwei belgischer Koryphäen begleitet: Nosedrip und CJ Bolland.
Während der Erste eine Underground-Institution ist und sich auf schillernde Compilations herrlich spezifischer Nischengenres spezialisiert hat – was ihn zu einem formidablen, vielseitigen wie unvorhersehbaren DJ macht – hat CJ Bolland die Acid- und Proto-Techno-Szene in Belgien maßgeblich geprägt.
Durch die Verschmelzung der Klänge von New Beat und dem frühen, futuristischen Techno aus Detroit wurde er zu einer nationalen Ikone und einem Underground-Größe– zwei Genres, die die belgische Szene der 90er Jahre prägten.
Es ist schwer vorherzusagen, wohin die beiden erfahrenen DJs und neugierigen musikalischen Köpfe den Floor für ihr Closing-Set steuern werden, aber eines ist sicher: it’s going to be one to remember.
