We hear Berliners love niche experiences — so we made one!!!
Welcome to: Chopsticks & Hotpot — A Hotpot Dinner Social
Hot pot is not just a dish. It’s a table setup, a tempo, and a social contract. You don’t just eat, you cook, share, and build your own bite. This time we’re hosting our social dinner at Yan Huo, one of the city’s most exciting new spots for a contemporary hot pot experience. What makes it special? Individual mini hot pots paired with a built in barbecue grill. So you can simmer and sizzle at the same time.
6:00–8:30 PM: Dinner time (yes, real dinner)
We sit down together, order what we want, and eat like people who actually committed to an evening out. When you arrive, you will receive a detailed Hot Pot Survival Kit to guide you through the essentials. What to cook first. How long to dip. Sauce strategy. Broth logic. No one gets lost in the steam. Then we gather around the simmering pots, choose our broths, and cook and barbecue together at your table.
The dishes are meant to be shared — food, opinions, spice tolerance, everything.
8:30–9:30 PM: Games & social time
Once everyone’s warm (emotionally and physically), we move into playful social games that make meeting new people feel easy and natural. No awkward networking. No yelling over music. Just good prompts, good energy, and people you’ll probably want to eat with again.
Come solo.
Come hungry.
