C/O Berlin präsentiert am 9. und 10. Dez die künstlerischen Arbeiten des diesjährigen Incubator-Programms von C/O Digital, die im Rahmen von C/O Digital Festival . New Values erstmals im Amerika Haus gezeigt werden. 

In Artist Talks, Panel Discussions, Workshops sowie partizipativen Veranstaltungen werden die im Jahr 2022 aufgeworfenen Fragen zum Thema New Values vertieft. Wie lässt sich der Begriff Wert jenseits wirtschaftlicher Interessen verstehen und neugestalten? Wie können Gaming-Strategien dabei eingesetzt werden?

Die Künstlerinnen Ayoung Kim, Debbie Ding und Keiken des diesjährigen Incubator-Programms haben sich dieser Herausforderung im Austausch mit den Mentor:innen Geert Lovink, MetaObjects und The New Design Congress angenähert. Mittels künstlerischer Recherche und der Produktion virtueller Welten verhandeln Sie den Wertebegriff neu und eröffnen auf diese Weise alternative Gesellschaftsformen des Miteinanders. 

Nach einem Abend voller inspirierender und anregender Diskussionen und Ideen bringt uns DJ KIMSWIM mit einem heißen DJ-Set zum Tanzen.

On Dec. 9 and 10, C/O Berlin will present the artistic works of this year's
C/O Digital Incubator Program, which will be shown at Amerika Haus for the first time as part of C/O Digital Festival . New Values.

In Artist Talks, Panel Discussions, Workshops as well as participatory events, the questions raised in 2022 on the topic of New Values will be explored in greater depth. How can the concept of value be understood and reshaped beyond economic interests? How can gaming strategies be used in this process?

This year’s artists Ayoung Kim, Debbie Ding, and Keiken from the incubator program challenged the term value in an exchange with the mentors Geert Lovink, MetaObjects, and The New Design Congress. By means of artistic research and the creation of virtual worlds, they renegotiate the concept of values and open up alternative social forms of togetherness.

After an evening of inspiring and stimulating discussions and ideas, DJ KIMSWIM will get us dancing with a hot DJ set.
