The Creative Impact Research Centre Europe (CIRCE) is delighted to invite you to its networking evening „Creative Impact in Practice“. Join us for an engaging gathering, celebrating the launch of our publication „Creative Impact in Practice“ and exploring innovative approaches to societal change through the presentation of creative impact projects.

The event will feature an introductory panel discussion with three of this year’s CIRCE Fellows, followed by an impulse on the definiton of creative impact with Dr. Marisa de Andrade and Roman Bartuli. The new CIRCE publication „Creative Impact in Practice“ will be showcased and available.

Panel Discussion "Catalysts for Change: Creative Solutions to Societal Challenges"

moderated by Charline Munzer, project manager at CIRCE

• Isabel Henschen: Isabel is the founder and CEO of Lou & You, a web app that uses creative digital approaches to support victims of violence with information and long-term emotional support.

• Jorinde Schulz: Jorinde is an artist, writer, and activist. Through her project Spaceship SEZ, she has developed a toolbox of creative strategies designed to foster participation in urban development processes.

• arjunraj: arjunraj is a multiple award-winning filmmaker, researcher, and storyteller. arjunraj has developed a distinctive storytelling toolkit in the form of a multi-modal platform exploring how to collaboratively create stories of tomorrow through a profound comprehension of the ‘self’ today.

These participants in the CIRCE Fellowship Programme will discuss how their individual projects aim to empower individuals and communities by promoting different aspects of inclusion, participation and social justice. They will discuss how they rely on their expertise from the cultural and creative sector to foster change and what creative impact means for their work.

Impulse on „Creative Impact Revisited“

Following the panel discussion, Dr. Marisa de Andrade, Senior Lecturer in Health Science & Society at the University of Edinburgh and author of „Transcending Measurement: Creative Impact as ‘Currency’ for Social Change“ and Roman Bartuli, Scientific Analysis Lead at CIRCE, will share insights into their latest findings around the concept of creative impact. They will explore the role and contributions of creative impact in today's social state, and discuss the latest research and methods for measuring its value in its many forms.

Join us to connect with other creative impact entrepreneurs, cultural workers, artists, researchers, and stakeholders of the cultural and creative ecosystem. Enjoy finger food, drinks, and music by miszo while sharing and discussing ideas!
