Join us for a Creative Writing Workshop exploring the theme “Through Nature, Body, Language.”
In this generative session, we will do some exercises - writing, reading and sharing poetry that moves through the landscapes around us, the sensations within us, and the words that connect us. Open to all, especially migrants, newcomers to poetry, and anyone curious about expressing their experience through language.
Workshop will be in english 

Our main goal for this set of workshops is to grow the community that we already have, that is why workshops will be provided by our friends and people we know, like and appreciate :D

In this case this workshop is led by the incredible artist D.M. Terblanche!
Dani (b. 1998, Pretoria, South Africa) is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist working primarily in photography. Their practice focuses on narrative documentary and portraiture, drawing from storytelling traditions across media to explore both personal and constructed realities.

In 2025, Terblanche was selected for Gen Z: Shaping a New Gaze, an international group exhibition by Photo Elysée. They were also one of ten international winners of Magnum x Polaroid - Real Life is Not Black and White (2024), with work exhibited at Paris Photo 2024. Other recognitions include winning Emergentes 2023 - International Photography Award Encontros da Imagem, and being featured in GUP Magazine’s FRESH EYES 2024 and THEN THERE WAS US - Ones to Watch 2023.

We organise these workshops as "Tycho Tychishe" Young People within the frame of Erasmus+ Solidarity Projects. All featured workshops are free of cost.
