Das Programm des jungen Berliner Ensembles präsentiert zwei stilistisch kontrastierende Stücke, die beide von berühmten Bildern inspiriert sind: La barque mystique (1993) des französischen Spektralisten Tristan Murail und das kräftig-rhythmische The Card Players (2018) von Magret Wolf. Diesen stehen zwei Uraufführungen von Komponist:innen der ganz jungen Generation zur Seite. Beide erhielten ihre Ausbildung unter anderem in Berlin: Saemi Jeong und Sébastien Vaillancourt.

The program of the young Berlin ensemble presents two stylistically contrasting pieces, both inspired by famous paintings: La barque mystique (1993) by the French spectralist Tristan Murail and the powerfully rhythmic The Card Players (2018) by Magret Wolf. These are accompanied by two world premieres by composers of the very young generation. Both received their studies in Berlin, among other places: Saemi Jeong and Sébastien Vaillancourt.
