A Performative Jam Session crossing Movement, Sound and Visual Arts
The Experimental Jam project is a series of research sessions on Interdisciplinary
Collaborative Improvisational Performance Practices.
For 3 hours, a performance is created in the moment by artists that haven’t worked
together on it beforehand. The session starts with the collective set up of the equipment
and materials that will be used, followed by an introduction to proposals and agreements
for non-stop collective improvisation. The registrations are open to professional and
non-professional artists from performance-based backgrounds such as music, dance and
visual arts. Each artist must bring their own equipment.
The public is welcome to watch and can enter and leave the space at any time.

Curator
Salomé Rodrigues is a multidisciplinary performer, choreographer and curator born in
Porto in 1996, based in Munich since 2024. She works with dance, theater, voice and
performance art and has been working between Portugal and Germany, creating and
performing in collaboration with different choreographers and visual artists, in a variety of
settings such as theaters, galleries, public space and open air festivals.
In 2024 she founded Experimental Munich, a platform focused on interdisciplinary
improvisational collaborative performance, curating events that provoque the crossing of
dance, sound and visual arts. In 2025 she became a member of the Turtle Magazine
Collective, curating and creating works that cross literature with performance.
Salomé tends to enjoy creating performances in intimate settings, that include interaction
with the public and strong performative states, taking the audience on a journey and
going through an experience rather than just having it playing the role of the spectator.
Being in community and working in a collaborative environment are her main interests
and are fundamental for her inspiration and practice.
Facilitators
Hermes Corp (a.k.a. Fotis Tsiroukis) is an interdisciplinary nomad and explorer of the
cultural forefront. Life led Hermes to cross between heterogenous worlds; from local
scenes, to working in decentralized organizations. Early on, Hermes explored the modality
of sound; music performance, composition, digital generation and auditory research, while
more recently, Hermes has turned to textual media. This includes digital poetry,
speculative fiction and a Doctoral Dissertation in Philosophy of Science and Technology.
Nowadays, Hermes mixes cross-form performance, improvisation and collective
emergence, aiming at the transfiguration of experience.
Charlotte Kahler (1989) is a choreographer, dancer, dance therapist, and abstract painter.
Born in Munich and raised between Germany and the USA, she is interested in
cross-cultural contact and interdisciplinary exchange between artists. Her work in dance
therapy has shifted her aesthetics to favor authentic expression and practicingacceptance. A recurring theme throughout all her works is the subject of „space“ as an
integral part of the art making process. A lifelong student, she is currently training Kung
Fu and expanding her spiritual practice further through Tai Chi and intuitive moving
meditations.
