This is the story of a century of Arab feminism. Filmed in Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, and Tunisia, the documentary features previously unreleased archival footage as well as exclusive interviews with activists. It explores Arab feminism from a historical perspective, highlighting how women’s emancipation has been shaped by the forces of nationalism and colonialism, and giving a voice to Muslim women fighting for their freedom.
