"OMA SAGT, DER KNOBLAUCH KOMMT ZUM SCHLUSS" – ein Kochworkshop mit Jasmina Al-Qaisi

Einen ganzen Tag gemeinsam mit Jasmina Al-Qaisi einen Eintopf* kochen. Wir treffen uns in der Galerie Wedding zu einer gemeinsam zubereiteten Version eines Hotchpotchs, einem herzhaften Eintopf aus verschiedenen Gemüsesorten*. Wir laden euch ein, die ganze Kochzeit über dabeizusein. Wenn ihr Gemüse in eurer Küche übrig habt, könnt ihr es gerne mitbringen.

*ähnelt Ghiveci, Güveç, Đuveč, Tagine, Ratatouille, Briami, Caponata, Peperonata, Imam bayeldi oder Gemüseeintopf und vielen anderen bekannten und unbekannten Eintöpfen; diese Gerichte werden das ganze Jahr über gekocht, besonders aber während der Erntezeit im Sommer und Herbst.

"GRANDMA SAYS THAT GARLIC GOES LAST" – cooking workshop with Jasmina Al-Qaisi

A day-long communal, one time stew* cooking session with Jasmina Al-Qaisi We meet at Galerie Wedding to assemble for a communally made version of a hotchpotch, a multi-veggie one pot hearty stew*. We gather to share affects, make microbial and bodily knowledge exchanges on eating and food practices that we care about, and find languages to echo our dish. We reflect on the role of eating and cooking collectively sharing regional, seasonal and geographical strategies, joys and refusals. We encourage participants to stay the entire time. If you have any vegetables in your kitchen, please feel free to bring them.
