Quentin Tarantino's stylistically and formally brilliant gangster film anthology -the best and most innovative film of the nineties!

Normal gangster life in Los Angeles: hitmen Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) dispose of an unwanted corpse, Pumpkin (Tim Roth) and Honey Bunny (Amanda Plummer) try their hand at robbing a restaurant, and boxer Butch (Bruce Willis) is on the run after a failed deal.
With his hard-hitting, ironic homage to Hollywood gangster cinema, Quentin Tarantino, arguably the most unusual and innovative U.S. filmmaker of the 1990s, has finally secured his rank as a cult director. The crime thriller, which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes '94 and the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, boasts not only technical perfection but also a whole battalion of top-class stars such as Bruce Willis, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel and John Travolta. A $100 million hit of the highest artistic quality.
In three cleverly linked episodes, the story is told of a dozen criminals whose paths cross as if by chance over the course of 24 hours in Los Angeles. They include: Treacherous boxer Butch and his French girlfriend Fabian, lovers Honey Bunny and Pumkin, who make their living by robbing people, crime boss Marsellus along with his attractive, drug-addicted wife Mia, and philosophizing hitman duo Vincent and Jules.
Three familiar gangster themes, surprisingly retold. Quentin Tarantino's stylistically and formally brilliant gangster film anthology was one of the cinema highlights of 1994, and John Travolta celebrated a comeback the likes of which have not been seen in a long time.
