Forró Di Kenga – Brazilian Queer Feminist Party presents Desabafo no Pé September 18 – Clärchens Ballhaus, Berlin

Desabafo no Pé is the powerful encounter of three musicians from different backgrounds: Zina Bloch, French accordionist, Melissa Morcote, Colombian percussionist, and Mamá Suen, Brazilian singer, zabumba player and songwriter.

The trio delivers a vibrant and daring musicality, shaped by a feminist and queer perspective that expands the forró scene and invites everyone to join the dance floor.

Born from the desire to share the stage, experiences, and life lessons among women, Desabafo no Pé is a living tribute to the music of Northeastern Brazil. Their repertoire blends tradition and innovation, celebrating both the roots and the continuous reinvention of forró.
