GONG WAH is a German alternative rock band from Cologne, known for their wild Fuzzwave sound. A mix of distorted guitars, 80s New Wave, Noise Rock and a touch of Synth Pop. With the unmistakable voice of Inga Nelke, GONG WAH delivers a unique sonic identity that is raw, energetic and impossible to ignore. From Dark Wave and Psychedelic Rock to grunge-influenced and melancholic pop moments, their music spans a wide spectrum of Indie and Alternative Rock. Always sounding authentically like GONG WAH.

After their self-titled debut „GONG WAH“ (2020) and the follow-up „A SECOND“ (2022), the band’s third album „THE HEALING VOLUME“ (2025) is out now via Tonzonen Records / Cargo Records Germany, available on vinyl, Spotify, Apple Music and more. Tracks like „Innocent Smile“ - „Savage“ - „This Life“ - „One Fine Day“ and „Supersized Kid“ combine raw energy, driving fuzz, strong hooks and emotional depth, fitting perfectly into Indie, Rock and Alternative playlists.
