Oran Ray

Oran Ray is a boundary-defying drummer and electronic artist based in Berlin. His
cutting-edge performances blend live percussion, modular synthesizers, and the improvisational spirit of jazz with the hypnotic pulse of Berlin’s underground techno. Rooted in rhythm and driven by experimentation, his sound merges raw, organic grooves with textured electronic landscapes to create immersive sonic journeys that are as unpredictable as they are captivating.
Having lived in Berlin, Oran was deeply inspired by the city’s iconic electronic music scene.
Immersed in its hypnotic rhythms, minimal aesthetics, and relentless innovation, he began
developing a unique style that fuses the raw energy of live drumming with the precision and texture of modular synthesis.
Now a fixture in Berlin’s experimental and electronic scenes, Oran continues to evolve his
sound through bold, boundary-pushing live performances. He is currently working on his debut EP, set for release in late 2025—a project that promises to further explore his dynamic interplay between rhythm and texture, and solidify his place as a forward-thinking voice in live electronic music.
