In "My Body, My Battle", queer, female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, transgender and agender bodies fight to regain control – refusing to serve any longer as passive battlefields for societal struggles, seizing an active part in said struggles instead, overcoming them, while remaking society in the process. The protagonists here break out of assigned roles and resist coercion – they're angry, tender, autonomous and vulnerable all at once. The body becomes an expression of personal and collective resistance, a home or even a fortress, and a source of healing.
