INTERFILM 40: Sound & Vision

Ten very distinctive musical acts play new compositions accompanying visually striking films: live at the Volksbühne! The musicians here have consciously avoided listening to the original soundtracks for the films (which have been handpicked from the current festival program) in order not to have them influence their own creative connection to the works during the compositional process. Nine films, accompanied by nine acts featuring talented musicians, in a dense and intense live show distinguished by phenomenal sound and the epic Volksbühne screen. Following the main event, "Elektron Super Sekvens – Outro" in Unterfilm invites guests to top off the evening while processing the impressions left by the show. Everyone is welcome!
