INTERFILM 40: InterVIEWS - An inclusive evening with accessibility check for short films

Das sagt der/die Veranstalter:in:

A short film evening, but one that focuses on inclusivity? This program features short films from interfilm's own in-house distribution department whose accessible versions are particularly remarkable. They will be shown in the cinema with open audio descriptions at a clearly audible volume and with extended subtitles burnt into the image so as to be very clearly visible. Successful audio-film writers Barbara Fickert and Ralf Krämer curated the programme based on film quality and well-realised accessible versions. Following the film programme, they will present a guide to accessibility in short films. At the end of the programme, the audience and filmmakers will enter into a discussion: What are the challenges for accessible short films? What are the wishes and demands?

Duration: two hours in total.

The short film program lasts approximately one hour and features films with German audio descriptions and extended SDH subtitles, as well as live interpretation in German Sign Language.

The subsequent discussion will take place with interpreting between German and German Sign Language as well as written interpreting.

The venue offers barrier-free access and a barrier-free WC.
