Kalinoches is a drag show that drifts between worlds and dreams. A celebration of the night and all the mismatched creatures that wander in/through it. We promise an evening that will tickle all your senses and keep you warm and cozy for days to come.

Follow drag daddy Alexander the Dick, creator and host of Kalinoches, into an underworld of small intimate rituals, a variety of acts and playful interactive games.

Each edition (performed only twice) brings Alexander and a shifting constellation of queer guest performers together to conjure an one-hour magic spell against conformity.

The opening of Kalinoches lands just before New Year — created for those who stayed in Berlin. For the folks that don’t or can’t go “home,” and instead build their own home together. So let us spend those hours with each other as an act of love, as a collective affirmation of queer unity.

A cozy, camp, and loving ritual to summon the year ahead — to turn everybody a little more gay.

Host: Alexander the Dick  

Alexander the Dick is the Greek lover your mother warned you about — and the one he’ll tell you she adores. A mama’s boy in a leather jacket, he craves your compliments almost as much as your attention, posing as a feminist while still soaking in the spotlight. With his swagger, singing, and suspiciously large… ego, Alexander seduces with his sexiness and flirty ways everyone at the audience.

He is the artistic director of the drag performance community project Dancing our queer Utopia  since 2023. Under public funding Alexander gives the opportunity to new performers to explore their drag persona through movement, creating a sustainable community.
