Heide Lutosch examines the everyday experiences of parenting through a mix of Marxist, feminist, and psychoanalytic theory, grounded in personal reflection. She highlights the persistent emotional and societal struggles of modern motherhood, and argues that those are not private, but rather deeply politic.
Lutosch questions why issues like unequal care work remain unresolved decades after the feminist movement began.
Details: The reading and discussion will be in German, with English and Spanish translations available on-site.
