Das Kollektiv Camoufleur (gegründet 2010 von Sébastien Bruggeman, Sylvain Courbois und Morgan Dimnet; seit 2018 erweitert um Michaël Lilin, Antoine Lefebvre und Céline Luchet) umfasst heute ein breites Spektrum an Aktivitäten. Im Zentrum steht jedoch der Ausstellungs- und Veranstaltungsraum in der Rue Aristote 37 im Stadtteil Fives in Lille, Frankreich. In und um Lille hat sich im Umfeld dieses Künstlerkollektivs eine lebendige Kunstszene entwickelt.

Eine zufällige Begegnung zwischen S. Bruggeman und S. Buckner im Jahr 2016 führte zu einer engen Freundschaft. Daraus entstand nach und nach die Idee, einen kulturellen Austausch zwischen den Städten Lille und Düsseldorf ins Leben zu rufen. Nachdem bereits die Arbeiten eines in Düsseldorf ansässigen Künstlers in Lille gezeigt worden waren und drei seiner Kollegen (C. Moldrickx, E. Esser, T. Hantmann sowie S. Buckner) in der Galerie Camoufleur in Lille ausgestellt hatten, ist es nun gelungen, eine Ausstellungswoche im Initiativenhaus Nilsson zu realisieren. Dort werden erstmals in Düsseldorf Werke von Michaël Lilin, Morgan Dimnet, Sébastien Bruggeman und Will De Kroot sowie Arbeiten aus den Éditions Sylvain Courbois von Dorothy Iannone, Florian & Michaël Quistrebert und Christian Hidaka präsentiert.

Am vorletzten Tag der Ausstellung (Samstag, 6. Juni 2026, von 17 bis 21 Uhr) werden einige der ausstellenden Künstler persönlich in Düsseldorf zu Gast sein. Ab 20 Uhr finden zudem zwei kurze Solo-Konzerte für E-Gitarre statt – mit Michaël Lilin (Lille) und Swen Buckner (Düsseldorf).

The Camoufleur collective (founded in 2010 by Sébastien Bruggeman, Sylvain Courbois and Morgan Dimnet, and expanded in 2018 to include Michaël Lilin, Antoine Lefebvre and Céline Luchet) now encompasses a great deal. Above all, however, it is the exhibition and event space at 37 Rue Aristote in the Fives district of Lille, France. A vibrant art scene has developed in and around Lille within the sphere of this artists’ collective. A chance encounter in 2016 between S.Bruggeman and S.Buckner led to a deep friendship, and gradually the idea took shape to launch a cultural exchange between the cities of Lille and Düsseldorf. Having already exhibited the work of a Düsseldorf-based artist and three colleagues (C.Moldrickx, E.Esser, T.Hantmann, S.Buckner) had exhibited at the Camoufleur gallery in Lille, we have now succeeded in securing an exhibition week at the Initiativenhaus Nilsson to showcase, for the first time, the works of Michaël Lilin, Morgan Dimnet, Sébastien Bruggeman, Will De Kroot and works from Éditions Sylvain Courbois by Dorothy Iannone, Florian & Michaël Quistrebert and Christian Hidaka in Düsseldorf.

On the penultimate day of the exhibition (Saturday, 6 June 2026, 5–9 pm), some of the exhibiting artists will be visiting Düsseldorf, and from 8 pm there will be two short solo electric guitar concerts by Michaël Lilin (Lille) and Swen Buckner (Düsseldorf).
