Lust auf Lindy Hop? Ein Social Dance zu Swingmusik. Gemeinsam - mit Partner*in und Musik - einen Tanz gestalten mit Fokus auf Kreativität und häufig auch Albernheit - darum geht's.

Die Tanzrollen sind „lead“ und „follow“ statt „Herr“ und „Dame“. Bei unserem Workshop lernen alle beide Tanzrollen kennen, sodass du ausprobieren kannst, was dir mehr Spaß macht: führen, folgen oder switchen.

Du brauchst keine Vorkenntnisse, nur bequeme Kleidung, die Schulter und Taille bedeckt, und Schuhe mit einem möglichst rutschigem (flachen) Profil und eventuell ein Wechselshirt. (Es ist ein Sport, wir werden schwitzen 😉)

Da Lindy Hop ein Social Dance ist, wechseln wir häufig die Tanzpartner*innen. Du brauchst also keine*n feste*n Tanzpartner*in und kannst auch allein kommen.

Interested in Lindy Hop? A social dance set to swing music. The idea is to create a dance together - with a partner and the music - focusing on creativity and often a bit of silliness.

The dance roles are “lead” and “follow” instead of “gentleman” and “lady”. In our workshop, everyone gets to experience both dance roles so you can try out what you enjoy most: leading, following, or switching.

You don’t need any prior experience - just comfortable clothing that covers your shoulders and waist, shoes with a slippy (flat) sole and maybe a change of shirt. (It is a workout, we will be sweating 😉)

Since Lindy Hop is a social dance, we frequently switch dance partners. So you don’t need a regular dance partner and can come alone.
