As part of Ashawo Cafe's music festival weekend, Mariama will perform a 30 minute intimate set at the cafe at 8p Berlin time. Rooted in Afropean culture, mari.ama is an artist, singer songwriter, poet,
curator, moderator, workshop and meditation facilitator whose work reflects a
journey across continents and traditions. A Fulani nomad by heritage with
familial and cultural ties spanning Africa and Europe she embraces the
richness of these diverse influences in her artistry and practice of holding
space.
