Mapping Waidmarkt Event 1

On July 25, we host the first public event as part of Mapping Waidmarkt, a six-month artistic intervention exploring memory, sound and urban transformation at one of Cologne's most complex sites.

Starting from the acoustic exploration of Waidmarkt, the project understands sound as a way of making invisible temporal, material and social layers perceptible. For the opening event the of the second project phase, Aho Ssan, Carmen Villain, Jin Yanan and KMRU present site-responsive performances that resonate with the project's ongoing research into listening, place and collective memory.
