The duo Schäfer & Grau will perform an exclusive pre-release concert for their upcoming album on Modularfield in 2025. In an intimate space designed for introspection and connection, their evocative soundscapes will guide the audience through subtle contrasts and shifting emotions, offering a lasting glimpse into their evolving creative vision.


Lukas Schäfer is a Cologne-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music producer. His work focuses on electronic and electroacoustic music, spanning genres such as jazz, pop, ambient, and electro. Schäfer also regularly collaborates with artists in the fields of visual arts, theater, and film.
 

Benjamin Grau is a Cologne-based musician and composer, born in 1987 in Hamburg. In 2020, he completed his concert exam in electronic composition under Michael Beil at the Cologne University of Music and Dance (HfMT), receiving additional instruction from renowned composers. Grau collaborates with various ensembles and artists, with his works being performed internationally.

 

For a fully immersive experience, all concerts at Das Bauwerk are broadcast through provided headphones. Special thanks to the Cultural Office of the City of Cologne for their ongoing support.
