Motorowl
After the release of their first album OM GENERATOR on Century Media Records, the five-piece powerhouse had an intensive tour schedule with bands such as Solstafir, Grave Pleasures and All them Witches. Immediately afterwards, they played festival gigs at Burg Herzberg Festival, the European Desertfest, the Siegen Freak Valley Festival and the Turock Open Air, among others. In summer 2018, MOTOROWL released their second album ATLAS, also via Century Media. With this album, MOTOROWL teamed up with Long Distance Calling to tour Europe for 5 weeks. In 2019, the five Thuringians then went largely solo to play several festivals in the summer and a tour through Scandinavia and Germany in the winter. The band used the forced break due to the pandemic to prepare for a new recording process as self-sufficiently as possible in order to record new material quickly. Once again, MOTOROWL visited Off the Roads Studio and their own facilities and recorded a lot of new material within 3 months. 2022 saw the self-release of the 7" vinyl single SHAPESHIFT HOOLIGANS. In 2023 the band announced that they were working with German label Supreme Chaos Records on a new release, which will be released in 2024 under the name THIS HOUSE HAS NO CENTER as the band's third full-length. The new album was mixed by Pieter Kloos.

The band describes their new album as follows
"With a new, dark sound, we wrote songs that are thematically located in our house without a center. The house without a center is a shield, a mirror and a shelter. Not just for us, for everyone."


Goat Explosion
With "Threatening Skies", Goat Explosion have released their brilliant, almost 60-minute second album in 2023, which combines traditional doom, heavy and epic metal, sludge and elements of extreme metal. Fat walls of riffs, pounding drums, catchy melodies and melodic, melancholic vocals radiate hope and hopelessness in equal measure. Let there be Doom!


GRIMM
Solo project of Kasan drummer Carlo Reuther, GRIMM takes the classic one man band to a new realm of energy. It`s a genre defying blend of distorted synthesizers, epic singing and relentless drumming. Playing every instrument simultaneously without playback or overdubs, GRIMM creates a fucked-up Terminator sountrack, an intense experience, an immersive bath in bass, noise, and fog. There is influence of bands like Boris or The Body but also a big nod to the cheesy synth sounds Vangelis and Brian Eno created in the 80`s. In contrast to more experimental noise or ambient projects, GRIMM focuses on arrangements and defined song-writing. The music is tightly constructed but always keeps embracing the excess. Although being one person only, GRIMM sounds like an entire band, creating an enticing hybrid of Synthwave, Garage, Ambient and Doom with an Eighties coating.

Nach dem release ihres ersten Albums OM GENERATOR über Century Media Records hatte das fünfköpfige Powerhouse einen intensiven Tourplan mit Bands wie Solstafir, Grave Pleasures und All them Witches. Direkt danach spielten sie festival Gigs, unter anderem auf dem Burg Herzberg Festival, dem European Desertfest, dem Siegen Freak Valley Festival und auf dem Turock Open Air. Im Sommer 2018 veröffentlichten MOTOROWL ihr zweites Album, ATLAS, auch über Century Media. Mit diesem Album haben sich MOTOROWL mit Long Distance Calling zusammengetan um 5 fünf Wochen durch Europa zu touren. In 2019 spielten die fünf Thüringer im Sommer auf mehreren Festivals und im Winter auf einer Tournee durch Skandinavien und Deutschland. Die erzwungene Pause durch die Pandemie nutzte die Band um sich auch einen Aufnahmeprozess vorzubereiten, der so autark wie möglich ist um schneller neues Material aufnehmen zu können. Noch einmal besuchten MOTOROWL das Roads Studio und ihre eigenen Einrichtungen und nahmen innerhalb von drei Monaten eine Menge neues Material auf. 2022 wurde die 7" vinyl Single SHAPESHIFT HOOLIGANS im Eigenverlag veröffentlicht. 2023 kündigte die Band an, dass sie mit dem deutschen label Supreme Chaos Records an einem neuen Release arbeite, welcher 2024, als drittes Full-Length Album der Band, mit dem Namen THIS HOUSE HAS NO CENTER erscheint. Das Album wurde gemischt von Pieter Kloos.

Die Band beschreibt ihr Album so:
"Mit einem neuen dark sound haben wir Songs geschrieben, die thematisch in unser Haus ohne Mitte gehören. Das Haus ohne Mitte ist ein Schild, ein Spiegel und ein Zufluchtsort. Nicht nur für uns, sondern für alle."

GRIMM
Das Solo-Projekt der kasanischen Drummer-Größe Carlo Reuther, GRIMM entführt die klassische Ein-Mann-Band in eine ganz neue Dimension der Energie. Es ist ein Genre-definierender Mix aus verzerrten Synthesizern, epischem Gesang und gnadenlosem drumming. Während jedes Instrument gleichzeitig gespielt wird, kreiert GRIMM einen fucked-up Terminator Sountrack, ein intensives Erlebniss, ein immersives Bad in Bass, Noise, und Rauch. Es gibt Einflüsse von Boris oder The Body aber auch eine große Anspielung auf die cheesy Synth Sounds, die Vangelis und Brian Eno in den 80`s erschaffen haben. Im Kontrast zu experimentelleren noise- oder ambient-Projekten fokussiert sich GRIMM auf Arrangements und definiertes Song-writing. Die Musik ist straff konstruiert lässt sich aber immer auf die Hemmungslosigkeit ein. Auch wenn es nur eine Person ist, klingt GRIMM wie eine ganze Band, die eine fesselnde Mischung aus Synthwave, Garage, Ambient und Doom mit einem leichten 80er-Anstrich schafft.
