Penelope
Penelope is a dance solo that speaks about female desire. Connecting different scenes, each one representing different aspects of romantic relationships between women, starts a reflexion about the mandates that romantic love imposes on women, not only in heteronormative relations but in every bond we have.

Prélude. Vorspiel. Vor dem Spiel und dennoch... schon am Spielen. Im Spiel. Spiel, aus dem Althochdeutschen: „Spil“ für Tanzbewegung.
Bérengère Brulebois und Julien Blondel spielen. Miteinander. Mit der Musik, mit dem Tanz. Treten in einen Dialog. Miteinander. Aber auch mit ihrer jeweiligen Kunst. Mit dem Tanz, mit der Musik. Und beide spielen mit den Werken von Johann Sebastian Bach. Genauer: mit jenen berühmten Präludien aus den Sechs Suiten für Violoncello solo.

Survival
Survival is an improvisation and gestural movement piece. It looks at movement and everyday gestures people unknowingly and knowingly use to communicate to the other. We use gestures to stimulate or impulse movement improvisation. We want to find a bridge between neutrality and dancing, moving in-between the two seamlessly. Without chaos.
