Hannah Müller-Hillebrand b. 1996, Germany Lives and works in Berlin (GER) Hannah Müller-Hillebrand, widely recognized by her artistic alias MÜHI, is a vibrant voice in contemporary art. Her journey into creativity began in childhood, fueled by a deep passion for artistic expression. This early love for art blossomed into a refined practice as she studied Design at FH Potsdam, earning her bachelor's degree in 2020. MÜHI’s time in academia was marked by bold experimentation across different mediums, an approach that continues to shape her work today. Now based in Berlin, MÜHI has established herself as a full-time artist and creator. Her art, often described as playful yet thought-provoking, reflects a unique blend of provocative themes and aesthetic elegance. Much of her work draws inspiration from her personal experiences, especially as a woman in the modern world. She aims to empower and challenge societal norms through strong visual contrasts— rigid lines and fluid forms—that question constraints imposed on individuals, particularly women.
