It's the New Year, and the Bastards of the Basement are back ...

And we're more bastard-y and basement-y than ever!

This time we'll be hosted - in the wonderful stage-basement venue at DNA Arts in the crack centre of Kreuzberg - where we'll bring you the darkest & weirdest improv you've ever seen. 

Actually, what we mean is, the darkest, weirdest improv you've NEVER seen, since we'll be performing some of our stuff in the dark. Yes, shut your eyes, open your ears and take in some radio-style improv.

Spawned and shaped in the basements of Berlin, Bastards of the Basement is composed of:

• Henry, with his rich, powerful bass voice
• Geoff, a tenuous tenor with a talent for turmoil
• Roy – prolific composer and piano magician.

We will be joined by the ebullient comedy singer-songwriter Jon Gazda, a perennial-hat-wearing regular on the improv scene here in Berlin. His infinite list of talents is eclipsed only by his doubly infinite list of regrets. 

Perhaps, more importantly than anything else (in the world), there will be a bar!
