Open Mic Poetry Night is back at Lost Weekend, every other Tuesday!
This night is a fun, engaging and energetic place to share your poetry. It doesn't matter if you're a seasoned professional or new to the stage, we welcome all voices. Long form, short form, interpretive, translated, etc. If you read a piece by another author, we only ask you give full credit.
Poetry night does fill up and tends to go standing room only. If you want a seat, make sure you arrive early! Even if you're left standing, you'll have a fantastic time.
We open the night at 7:00, the mic goes live at 7:15.
You can read your own work, someone else's work with attribution, in any language, translated or not translated, sing, clap, perform, shout, whatever you need. The stage is open and belongs to you.
