OXIgarten Invites: Oroko Radio

This summer: OXI invites a DJ or collective every weekend to curate an outdoor line-up.

Oroko is a not-for-profit independent internet radio station based in Accra, Ghana. The station aims to connect, inspire, and empower through conversation, collaboration, and community.
Oroko seeks to reclaim and recenter narratives from the African and Diasporic artistic communities, with a particular focus on local perspectives in Accra. Additionally, the station is dedicated to cultivating and nurturing relationships with like-minded projects across the globe. Oroko Radio shines a spotlight on alternative sounds and thoughts emerging from and influenced by the African continent.

What is OXIgarten? 
It's OXI's OpenAir area that exclusively hosts daytime parties.  

Where is OXI? 
Right in the slipstream of Berlin-Friedrichshain, in between Ostkreuz and Frankfurter Allee stations.  

What if the weather is bad? 
Our dance-floor is covered by a waterproof roof. Our cocktail bar and I Floor (chill area) are indoors.  

What about food? 
We alternate between pizza and energising light food, both have vegan options.  

What's the sound system? 
We're the first Berlin club to exclusively use Lambda Labs PA.  

Where can I chill? 
There is plenty of comfortable areas to sit and lay down indoors and outside.  

How can I pay? 
Cash for entry/box office. Inside cash and card (10euro minimum).

Where can I buy a ticket? 
Tickets are available on RA and at the door. Please note that having a ticket doesn't guarantee entry.
