A new walk in the NS-DOK and MiQua’s joint web-app »Between the houses« takes visitors to places of culture and education in Jewish Cologne. Records and testimonies of Jewish residents involved give vivid insights into a diverse cultural scene eventually destroyed by the Nazi regime. Descendants of persons portrayed in the app will present their family history while members of the project team will talk about the concept of the app and discuss questions about its relevance for both family research and educational purposes.
