Workshop zur Einführung in das Digitale Archiv der Freien Darstellenden Künste

Wer in der Freien Szene aktiv ist, sammelt über die Jahre unzählige Erinnerungen – in Herz und Hirn, in Kellern und Kisten. Ihr wollt, dass all das nicht verloren geht? Die Plattform performingarchive.org hilft Euch dabei! Dort könnt Ihr kostenlos digitales Material hochladen, beschreiben und mit den Daten anderer Nutzer*innen verknüpfen. Im Workshop erhaltet Ihr eine Einführung in dieses neue Tool und lernt, wie Ihr analoges Material fachgerecht digitalisiert. Die Initiative für dieses neue Online-Archiv nahm 2013 bei den Impulsen ihren Anfang. Einige Objekte aus der Geschichte des Festivals sind bereits auf der Plattform zu finden. Und jede*r kann weitere hinzufügen! Welches Potential liegt in dieser kollektiven Bewahrung des kulturellen Erbes? Sascha Förster vom Theatermuseum Düsseldorf berichtet zu Beginn des Workshops, wie neue Formen des Archivierens und Sammelns die Arbeit der bestehenden Institutionen inspirieren können.

Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme: eigenes Laptop oder Tablet sowie ein Gegenstand, dessen Geschichte Ihr online mit anderen teilen wollt.

Workshop introducing the Digital Archive of the Independent Performing Arts

Anyone active in the independent arts scene accumulates countless memories over the years – in their hearts and minds, in basements and boxes. Do you want to ensure that none of this is lost? The performingarchive.org platform can help! You upload digital material free of charge onto the platform, describe it, and link it to data from other users. In this workshop, you will receive an introduction to this new tool and learn how to properly digitise analogue material. The initiative for this new online archive began at the 2013 Impulse Festival and already items from the festival’s history can be found on the platform. And anyone can add more. Incredible potential lies in this collective preservation of cultural heritage. At the start of the workshop, Sascha Förster from the Düsseldorf Theatre Museum will outline how new ways to archive and collect can inspire the work of existing institutions. Requirements for participation: your own laptop or tablet, as well as an object whose history you wish to share with others online.
