Der Pink Movie Club ist der Ort für alle, die Lust auf queeres Kino haben!

Die zwölfte Ausgabe des Pink Movie Clubs steht direkt vor der Tür - und wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir diese in Kooperation mit dem "Festival contre le Racisme" umsetzen dürfen. 💜

"Signature Move" erzählt die Geschichte von Zaynab und Alma und beschäftigt sich mit den Komplexitäten queerer, migrantischer Identitäten. Die beiden navigieren unterschiedliche familiäre und gesellschaftliche Erwartungen, und Zaynab kämpft nicht nur mit den US-amerikanischen Einwanderungsbehörden für die Rechte ihrer Klient*innen, sondern schließlich auch im Wrestling Ring. ✨️

Also kommt am 12. Juni um 20.30 Uhr in der Bonner Kinemathek (in der Brotfabrik) vorbei! Der Film wird im Englischen Original mit Deutschen Untertiteln gezeigt. Vor dem Film gibt es Sekt-Mate und eine kurze Einführung. Alle, die möchten, können auch bei unserem Outfit-Motto teilnehmen: Zeigt uns einen Look, mit dem Ihr Euch empowered fühlt! 💪💅

The twelfth episode of the Pink Movie Club is just around the corner! 😍

We're so excited to announce that this time, we get to cooperate with "Festival contre le racisme" for our screening of "Signature Move". 🌈

This film tells the story of Zaynab and Alma and explores the complexities of queer migrant identities. The two navigate different familiar and societal expectations and Zaynab finds herself not only fighting battles in the US immigration courts on behalf of her clients, but also in the wrestling ring. ✨️

So join uns on June 12th at 8.30 pm at Bonner Kinemathek (at the Brotfabrik) ! 💜 We'll screen the movie in the original English with German subtitles. Before the movie there will be sprakling wine and mate as well as a quick introduction. If you want to participate, there is an outfit motto: Show us a look that makes you feel empowered. 💪💅
