Poetry & Pasta with Jason Allen- Paisant

Poetry & Pasta returns on June 12 with T.S. Eliot Prize and Forward Prize-winning poet Jason Allen- Paisant.

Born in Jamaica and based in the UK, Jason Allen-Paisant is the author of Thinking with Trees, Self-Portrait as Othello, and The Possibility of Tenderness. His work moves between memory, migration, family, landscape, race, and belonging, asking how place shapes who we become and how we move through the world.

For the evening, we will gather around the table for poetry, conversation, handmade pasta, and wine as Jason reads from his work and joins us in discussion.

Poetry & Pasta is an intimate reading series by Davenport Books that brings international poets and writers into conversation with readers in Hamburg.
