Wir möchten einen Abend der Lyrik widmen und Gedichte in möglichst vielen Sprachen lesen und hören! Bringt Eure Lieblingsgedichte mit – egal ob selbst oder von anderen verfasst – und teilt sie mit uns oder kommt einfach so zum Lauschen! Wir übernehmen auch gern das Vorlesen, wenn Du Texte teilen aber nicht selbst vorlesen möchtest! Wir freuen uns über neue Entdeckungen!

We would like to dedicate an evening to poetry and read poems in as many different languages as possible! Come and share Your favorites with us – written by Yourself or by others – or just come along to listen! If You don’t want to read Yourself but want to share texts, we can take over the reading for You! We are looking forward to discover new authors and languages!

Donations are welcome to keep Orinoco alive!

Orinoco Books Leipzig is an international, volunteer-run secondhand bookstore and library in Leipzig (Mariannenstr. 18), offering books in English, French, German, Spanish and more. We host regular events (more on our website)! Come by and browse!
