New York’s premier no-wave-rock-n-roll experience, PONS has been blinding ears and searing minds since the group’s arrival on the scene in 2021. Known for their unrelenting tours and explosive live performances, word of Pons has quickly spread due to their unconventional and controversial approach to live music known as “Body Connection.”

Playing more than 150 DIY shows across the U.S. each year, Pons was named “NYC’s Hardest Working Band” in 2022 by Oh My Rockness and has relentlessly traversed the lands of North America and Europe as a brutal GUITAR/DRUM/DRUM trio to spread their sonic experience. With their dashing looks and salesman’s eye, Pons has supported notable acts such as Vundabar, Sidney Gish, Gustaf, Geese, and more.

The debut Pons studio LP / no wave rock opera “The Liquid Self” was released on October 6th, 2023 on Dedstrange (a new label run by Oliver Ackermann of A Place To Bury Strangers / Death By Audio) and details a sailor’s psychedelic death trip after being stranded at sea. 2023 also saw Pons perform at Synaesthesia & Super Bock Em Stock in Europe alongside bands like Iceage, La Femme, and Will Butler before heading down to Austin, Texas as an official artist for SXSW 2024.
