Arbeiten mit dem was da ist. Nicht neu schöpfen sondern bestehendes Ausschöpfen.

In einer Kurz-Version gehen wir durch einen choreografischen Researchprozess. Form definieren, Qualität erforschen und dann beides integriert in den Raum bringen.

Dabei steht neben der Frage, was aus der Form mit neuer Qualität und Orientierung für eine Bedeutung wächst, auch die Frage der tanzgeschichtlichen Zusammenhänge im Raum. Woher kommt die Form? Ist sie einer bestimmten Technik zuzuordnen?

Johanna Greiner (sie/ihr) begann ihre Tanzausbildung in Köln u.a. als Teil des Kollektiv „Labor im Quartier“ (ZAIK) mit Auftritten beim DYNAMO Festival. 2019 setzte sie ihre Ausbildung in Spanien bei CobosMika SEED’s fort. Dort tanzte sie in Kreationen von Kiko López und Ralf Jaroschinski. 2022 war sie mit Erasmus+ an der Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy. 2023 schloss sie ihr Tanz- und Choreografie Studium an der Alma Mater Europaea – Dance Academy (Slowenien) ab. Dort arbeitete sie mit Irena Tomažin Zagoričnik und Lucija Romanova. Danach war sie Teil der Alpha Group unter Leitung von Darrel Toulon. Aktuell entwickelt sie „Kitchen Stories“ mit der Violinistin Vita Kobal sowie das generationenübergreifende Stück „Verknüpfte Zeiten“. Zuletzt war 

sie SuSo Artist in Residence 2025 in Sutivan, Kroatien. Ihre Arbeit vereint Recherche, Narrative, Interdisziplinarität und soziale Relevanz.

Working with what is already there. Not creating something new, but exploring what already exists.

In a condensed version, we’ll go through a choreographic research process. Defining form, exploring quality, and then bringing both into the space in an integrated way.

In addition to the question of what meaning emerges from the form with new qualities and orientations, the question of dance-historical contexts in the space also arises. Where does the form come from? Can it be attributed to a specific technique?

Johanna Greiner (she/her) began her dance training in Cologne, including as part of the collective “Labor im Quartier” (ZAIK), performing at the DYNAMO Festival. In 2019, she continued her training in Spain at CobosMika SEED’s. There, she danced in works by Kiko López and Ralf Jaroschinski. In 2022, she attended the Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy through Erasmus+. In 2023, she completed her studies in dance and choreography at the Alma Mater Europaea – Dance Academy (Slovenia). There, she worked with Irena Tomažin Zagoričnik and Lucija Romanova. Afterward, she was part of the Alpha Group under the direction of Darrel Toulon. She is currently developing “Kitchen Stories” with violinist Vita Kobal, as well as the intergenerational piece “Verknüpfte Zeiten.” Most recently, she was a SuSo Artist in Residence 2025 in Sutivan, Croatia. Her work combines research, narrative, interdisciplinarity, and social relevance.
