Melane Trio

Melane ist Kunst, eine Sängerin und wenn sie will, rappt sie. Auf ihrer Plattform Beautiful Colors setzt sie sich für die Sichtbarkeit von Schwarzen Menschen und Menschen afrikanischer und afrodiasporischer Herkunft in Deutschland, sowie für das Empowerment von Menschen ein. Seit 2015 setzt sie sich für das Empowerment von Menschen ein. Selbstbewusst etablierte sie den Slogan "Ich liebe meinen Migrationsvordergrund" (ein Ausdruck, der Stereotypen und Vorurteile bekämpfen soll, die oft mit Schwarzen Menschen in Verbindung gebracht werden). Melane möchte ein Beispiel für junge Menschen, insbesondere für Frauen, sein - sie sollen wissen, dass Musik und Musikproduktion keine reine Männerwelt ist. Aber sie zeigt auch, dass man keiner Kategorie angehören muss und dass man keine Etiketten braucht. Zurzeit arbeitet sie an ihrem ersten Album Mirrors & Windows.

Live music at the festival 

Melane Trio

Melane is art, a singer and if she wants to, she raps. On her platform Beautiful Colors she campaigns for the visibility of Black people and people of African and Afro-diasporic origin living in Germany. Since 2015, she has been working to empower people. She self-confidently established the slogan "Ich liebe meinen Migrationsvordergrund" (eng. "I love my migration foreground" - an expression that aims to fight stereotypes and prejudices, that are often associated with Black people. Melane aims to set an example for young people, especially women - they should know, that music and music production are not an exclusively world for men. But she also shows, that you don't have to belong to any category and that labels are not needed. She is now working on her first album Mirrors & Windows.
