RISE OPEN AIR - ZAKES BANTWINI & AWEN :THIS ONE IS SPECIAL.

On 16 August, @risebln welcomes @zakesbantwini and @awen_Ikmusic to MAAYA for a very special Open Air edition.

Grammy winning South African singer songwriter, producer and DJ Zakes Bantwini has spent more than two decades helping shape Afro-house and electronic music.

From the iconic "Osama" to the Grammy-winning "Bayethe," his music has carried the sound, soul and energy of South Africa to audiences around the world.

This edition is special because we are welcoming an artist who has helped bring African electronic music to the global stage now joining the RISE community for a full daytime experience in the heart of Berlin.

We are also excited to welcome @awen_Ikmusic back to RISE for the second time, bringing her powerful live vocals, unique energy and distinctive Afro-house sound back to our stage.
