We're excited to welcome Berlin-based DJ and Slow Motion label head Franz Scala to Rough Trade Berlin for a DJ Set + Signing, celebrating the release of his brand new album 'Cafe Futuro', out the very same day.

And that's not all! Berlin DJ and producer duo Local Suicide will also be on the decks and Argentina's Furotica will be heating things up with a live DJ Set before Franz & Charlie take over the floor.

PLEASE NOTE: Each entry ticket includes a physical copy of 'Cafe Futoro', available as a double 12" 'album' or two separate 12"s (Disc 1 and Dics 2) on black vinyl, that can be collected at the event and will be signed by Franz on the night.

Slow Motion Records founder Franz Scala announces the infectious, ground-moving LP 'Cafe Futuro', a follow-up to his highly acclaimed debut ‘Mondo Della Notte’. Homage to the influential Neukölln bar and meeting point for Italo and Cosmic disco heads, 'Cafe Futuro' builds upon a bold and innovative sound, showcasing fellow creators and genre-defining artists, solidifying the Italo Aficionados sound, synonymous with the pioneering greats.

Charlie - DJ, producer and LIVE performer is hailing from the Polish city of Krakow. There she caters to Krakow’s visual art scene as the CO-director of the project space „Elementarz dla mieszkańców miast” and throws parties under the name Szum uniting cold mutant electro with sparkling italo disco.

Furotica, formerly known as Furor Exótica, is an Argentinian dancefloor-oriented duo from Buenos Aires, formed in 2014 by vocalist Barbie Garbage and producer Ric Piccolo.

Local Suicide have been active in the electronic music scene since first teaming up in 2008. The Greek-German couple initially gained recognition through their events across Berlin before capturing global attention with their eclectic DJ sets combining new wave, Italo, indie dance, post-disco, EBM, and dark techno.
